
The Transamerica Expo Center is part of Conglomerado Alfa, which controls the Transamérica Hotel chain, founded more than 20 years ago.
It was opened in August, 2001 and, together with Hotel Transamerica and Teatro Alfa, comprises the main location for trade shows, fairs, exhibits, congresses and entertainment in the city of the São Paulo and in Brazil. Investments made in the 33,000 m² exhibition center amounted to approximately US$ 15 million, and the facilities also include parking for 2,000 vehicles.
With more than 300 events since its opening, the Transamerica Expo Center has held various fairs, congresses, product launch events, sales conventions, shows, graduation ceremonies, among others.
